How to Clean A Headstone with
Headstone Helper

Step 1: Purchase Headstone Helper Kit with Deluxe Sprayer

Step 2: Wet Headstone

Use the Headstone Helper bottle sprayer or Deluxe Sprayer to soak down the headstone.

Step 3: Remove Loose Soilings

Once the headstone is wet, use Headstone Helper tools to remove lichens, moss, algae, and other soilings.

Step 4: Use All The Headstone Helper Tools

The Headstone Helper kit comes with scrapers, brushes, detail sticks to clean small and big areas.

Step 5: Safety

Before applying Headstone Helper PROSOCO ReVive, put on goggles and gloves (in the kit).

Step 6: Prepare ReVive Cleaner

ReVive attacks specific stains without harming the substrate. Read the bottle for proper water dillution.

Step 7: Apply Cleaner

It's recommended to apply the cleaner with the Deluxe Sprayer, but you can also use the spray bottle which comes with the kit.

Let Cleaner Sit for 3-5 Minutes

Step 8: Scrub Away Soilings

Once cleaner has had time to penetrate, use the Headstone Helper nylon brush to work away lichens, algae, and moss.

Step 9: Clean Brush and Repeat

The key here is water and more water. Fill the Headstone Helper bucket with water. As you clean the headstone, make sure to clean the brush.

Step 10: Rinse Headstone With Deluxe Sprayer

It's recommended to use the Headstone Helper Deluxe Sprayer to clean down the headstone...watch it shine!

Step 11: Journal & Photos

A journal for taking notes and documenting the experience is included with the kit.

Step 12: Appreciation

Take time to show gratitude and appreciation. In this case, we've cleaned a Civil War shield headstone, so we're placing a flag beside the headstone.

Step 11: All Done!
